Boys and girls, here we are again! As you probably already know, if you have seen the news this week, a great artist died last Monday: David Bowie. This song was released in 1969 to coincide with the Apollo 11 moon
landing, and was used by the BBC to accompany its television coverage of
the event. It was David Bowie’s first hit single, reaching number 5 in
the charts. It was rereleased in 1975, giving Bowie his first Number
One. A little tribute to him. R.I.P.
Hello, kids!! This is the song we have seen in a dialogue in the 4th year book. I thought it would be funnier if we not only listened to it, but also saw the videoclip. Enjoy it!!!
Hi! Students from 1st A class. Here you have the picture I took in our P.E. class this morning. I hope you can download it! Bye! ( remember to post a comment if you like!)
Hi! As I told you in the lecture with Xisco (Red Cross), this is a very good song to discuss racism and discrimination. We will deal with it in class, and of course I strongly encourage you to post a comment! CU!
And this is the Martin Luther King images version (subtitled).
