SPACE ODDITY (BY DAVID BOWIE)

Boys and girls, here we are again! As you probably already know, if you have seen the news this week, a great artist died last Monday: David Bowie.
This song was released in 1969 to coincide with the Apollo 11 moon landing, and was used by the BBC to accompany its television coverage of the event. It was David Bowie’s first hit single, reaching number 5 in the charts. It was rereleased in 1975, giving Bowie his first Number One.
A little tribute to him. R.I.P.

And here you have the lyrics...

  1. It is a good song, however... I don`t like it, because I am not keen on the Folk Rock. On the other hand I am keen on the progressive Rock and there comes a time in which the song is confusing...

  2. Hi! I'm Alba from 4A. I have just seen the video and I really didn't like it...I've been looking at internet the spanish lyrics and I didn't understand anything, but not literally. I mean the concept that the singer wanted to covey...that's everything! CU!
