"7 YEARS" BY LUKAS GRAHAM HELLO! Here we are again one more year! Today with you, the opening song for this new season! I would like to thank two students from 3rd B (María and Ainhoa), who suggested to work on this song. I must say, that although I had listened to the song before, I didn´t pay too much attention to it. Now, that I have listened carefully, I admit I love it. Hope you like it. This was a huge hit from Danish band Lukas Graham in 2016. Frontman Lukas Graham described it as a song about his life so far and what he hopes to achieve in the future, as well as about growing older. His father died at 61, so he needed " to pass it to believe it". from Wikipedia.
And now, the lyrics in English and Spanish. Remember that you may post your comments!!!
Boys and girls, here we are again! As you probably already know, if you have seen the news this week, a great artist died last Monday: David Bowie. This song was released in 1969 to coincide with the Apollo 11 moon
landing, and was used by the BBC to accompany its television coverage of
the event. It was David Bowie’s first hit single, reaching number 5 in
the charts. It was rereleased in 1975, giving Bowie his first Number
One. A little tribute to him. R.I.P.
Hello, kids!! This is the song we have seen in a dialogue in the 4th year book. I thought it would be funnier if we not only listened to it, but also saw the videoclip. Enjoy it!!!
Hi! Students from 1st A class. Here you have the picture I took in our P.E. class this morning. I hope you can download it! Bye! ( remember to post a comment if you like!)
Hi! As I told you in the lecture with Xisco (Red Cross), this is a very good song to discuss racism and discrimination. We will deal with it in class, and of course I strongly encourage you to post a comment! CU!
And this is the Martin Luther King images version (subtitled).
